1 Terms of service

1.1 Surfwebtips is a family friendly web directory. Surfwebtips
aim to include web sites in our web directory that are highly
rated by a majority of our visitors. We do not accept web sites
that contain any content that is of questionable nature or is
a violation of any law. Web sites that contain any offensive material
are not accepted. All web site information and web sites are reviewed
by a human before they are added to our web directory. Nevertheless
web site content changes over time why Surfwebtips can not be
held responsible for the content of web sites listed in our web
directory or that all content at Surfwebtips is accurate or reliable.
1.2 Surfwebtips reserves the right to accept or reject any web
page submitted to our database of web sites. We also reserve the
right to delete or move entries to other categories at any time
and we reserve the right to edit your web site information title,
description and hyperlink with or without notice. If you link
to us, your link location page from where you link to us must
provide "page rank" value. Link pages that cannot be
indexed by the search engines are not accepted.
1.3 General criteria for submissions to Surfwebtips web directory
are: Surfwebtips only accept English-language web sites and only
one individual page of each web site. The name of the domain must
be unique. You need to make sure to fill in a valid email address.
Submissions with a false email will be rejected. Your entered
title should be a company name or the name of the web site. Your
entered web site description should contain proper English and
describe the content of the web site in a positive sense. Hyperlinks
(URL) in descriptions are not accepted. Further more you need
to submit a proper web site. Web sites still under construction,
web sites consisting largely of affiliate links or web sites with
annoying pop-ups or search engine spam on the site will get rejected.
The suggested web site must contain sufficient pages and recognizable
content and the web site must be up and running consistently.
Remember that Surfwebtips aim to provide visitors good rated web
sites. Your suggested web site needs to be nothing but a tip and
your description about the web site needs to reflect that.
1.4 If you are not the domain owner of your suggested web site,
the domain owner in the future might claim their right to change
web site information data at Surfwebtips. If we fulfil their application
your account at Surfwebtips is passed to the domain owner and
your password for that account is no more a valid password.
1.5 If your suggested web site is admitted, you will receive
an email containing a password for your account at Surfwebtips.
You will need this password, to login to your account and administrate
your web site information. You are responsible for maintaining
the confidentiality of the password and account, and you are fully
responsible for all activities that occur under your password
or account. Web sites are usually reviewed and evaluated within
one business week. If you can not login to your account two business
weeks from your submission date, means that your suggestion was
rejected. In that case you have suggested a web site that is contradictory
to our policy.
1.6 If your suggested web site is admitted, updates of web site
information are usually reviewed and evaluated within one business
week. Your web site information will not be on display at the
Surfwebtips web directory or visible to our visitors while web
site information is reviewed and evaluated. If you don't see your
update carried out one business week from your updated date, means
that your update was rejected. In that case your update is contradictory
to our policy and your account is terminated. Once your account
is terminated or deleted, all data is lost and a new account would
need to be established.
1.7 It is your responsibility to read Surfwebtips terms of service,
privacy policy and our agreement (see below) and keep up to date
with them. You are encouraged to check back frequently, as our
terms of service, privacy policy and agreement may change. We
reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, without notice,
and your continued presence in our web directory after any change
we make will mean that you agreed with the changes. We will notify
you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information
by placing a prominent notice on our Privacy Policy page.
2 Privacy policy

2.1 Surfwebtips takes your privacy seriously. The purpose of storing
the information you provide us, is to enable you to edit your
web site information data as well as for us to maintain communication
with you regarding general aspects of our business. Submitting
a web site to Surfwebtips automatically subscribes you to the
Surfwebtips newsletter. You can unsubscribe from that newsletter
when you receive your first newsletter. Surfwebtips will not
provide or sell your information to any other company.
2.2 Surfwebtips stores information in a safely manner. Remember
though that whenever you give out personal information on the
Internet, that information can be intercepted in transit. While
Surfwebtips strive to protect any personal information in our
possession, we cannot guarantee the security of any information
you disclose online and you do so at your own risk.
3 Agreement

Your suggested web site and its web site information are believed
to match criteria for submissions to Surfwebtips (see 1.3) and
you accept Surfwebtips terms of service and privacy policy. You
agree to provide true, accurate and current information about
your suggested web site.
Link Exchange Service
To possess a Link Exchange Account or a "Exchange
Links With Us" script on your site require the following;
Adult or hate and search engine spam web sites are not accepted.
Your web site should be in English and your web site must not
be under construction. Link pages that cannot be indexed by the
search engines are not accepted. E.g. partner links contained
in a third-party database. Your link location page for your partners
must provide "page rank" value to your link partners.
Your account expire and is terminated if you don't login to your
account in two months or if your web site doesn't meet the above
requirements.
Your email address and your partners email addresses are protected
by Surfwebtips. Surfwebtips will not provide or sell any email
address to any other company.
Privacy policy
Cookies are used to learn more about how Surfwebtips
is used and to improve the quality and usefulness of the Surfwebtips
web directory. A cookie is a file that is sent to you when you
browse a web site. The file is stored on your hard drive and can
record information about your computer, browser and where you
go while you surf. We use this data to better understand web site
usage so we know what areas of our web site users prefer. This
information is stored in log files but is not attributed to you
as an individual.
Surfwebtips requires JavaScript to function
and is used for functionality only.
When you subscribe to Surfwebtips Newsletter
we require you to provide us your email address prior to receiving
the newsletter via email. Surfwebtips will not provide or
sell your information to any other company. You may cancel
your subscription at any point in the future.
Surfwebtips.com contains links to other web sites.
These sites are not under our control. Please be aware that Surfwebtips
is not answerable for the privacy practices of any other web site.
Surfwebtips is not responsible for the content of external web
sites. Surfwebtips encourage you to be aware of when you leave
our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every
web site that you visit.
